Alex Day (they/she) is a disability justice focussed
writer, curator and archivist. Her current work incorporates deep research into moving image archives, and improving access to arts and heritage for disabled people. Their practise draws from lived experience of disability and neurodivergence. She currently lives and works across the North West of England.
Alex graduated with a joint honours degree in Fine Art and Art History in 2017. They hold additional qualifications in Teaching, Safeguarding and Inclusive Learning Practise.
Before their career pivoted to into heritage collections, Alex worked as an education support worker, teacher and DEI representative.
